What it does
The chasing is done. The deciding stays with you.
01
The whole round in one place
Proposals, approvals and sign-off run in Simployer, not in a spreadsheet and an inbox. Planners and approvers get an email on the day you choose, in your words.

JonasPlannerTook over the key accounts in May. Proposing 3.5%.
YlvaApproverAgree on the reason. Customer Care is close to the frame, so 2.5% now and we look again at the half-year.
JonasPlannerFair. I’ll tell Henrik on Friday.

Security and GDPR
Pay data belongs in the HR system, not in an email attachment.
A password on a spreadsheet keeps out the people who never got the email. Everyone who did can open it, forward it and save a copy. In Simployer, salaries stay in one place, and only the people in the round get in.
- Access by rolePlanners, approvers and final approvers each get their part of the round. Nobody else.
- Exports only for the fewOwners, admins and final approvers can export. Managers can’t send the file on.
- Stored in the EU, GDPR-readyBuilt for HR data, with a data processing agreement.
- Security certificationISO/IEC 27001 certification in progress. ISAE 3402 audited by PwC.

Good to know
Questions we hear on every demo.
What is Simployer Salary review?
Salary review is the part of Simployer’s HR system where the yearly pay round runs. HR sets the budget and the people involved. Managers propose new salaries with the employee’s pay and employment details in front of them. Up to 2 levels of approvers review, comment and sign off, and the round can be exported to Excel at any point.
How many approval levels can we have?
Up to 2 above the manager. A planner proposes, an optional additional approver reviews, and a final approver signs off. Final approvers and owners can read and comment at every level.
Can we change who’s involved after the round is set up?
Yes, until the review goes live. Change the planner, approver or final approver, for example when a manager will be on leave. The budget and settings stay as they are, so there’s nothing to set up again.
Can we get the numbers out while the round is still open?
Yes. Owners, admins and final approvers can export the review to Excel during the round or after it. Each file holds one review, with tabs for employees, planners, approvers and a summary. Useful for calibration, or when the union asks.
Does Salary review check proposals against our collective agreement?
No. Salary review runs the round. For questions on the law, your collective agreement or a pay survey, talk to one of Simployer’s HR experts.
Is salary data safer here than in a password-protected Excel file?
Yes. A protected file can still be forwarded, saved and opened by anyone with the password. In Simployer, salaries stay in one system, people only get access through their role in the round, and only owners, admins and final approvers can export.
Where is our data stored?
In the EU. Simployer is built for HR data and is GDPR-ready, and what you share with Simployer’s HR experts is covered by a data processing agreement.
