Country Manager in Sweden, Fredrik Christiansson says that the acquisition fits like a glove for Simployer:
- With our history, our large customer base and our broad range of services, we are extremely well equipped to take the next step in Sweden and continue to develop new offers and services. Despite the pandemic, the economy is strong in many industries and more relaxed restrictions mean that there is great focus on returning to the workplace. This means increased demand for our services, Christiansson emphasizes.
In December 2020, Simployer Group acquired Swedish & frankly, which specializes in engagement surveys. The acquisition of Edge HR further strengthens Simployers position in Sweden. Simployer Group's CEO, Thorfinn Hansen, says that the acquisition is in line with the company's growth strategy in Northern Europe with a strong and well-established market offering:
- The combination of HR Tech and HR expertise is central to our strategy. The acquisition of Edge HR fits in very well with this development and strengthens our position in Sweden, says Hansen.
Edge HR is a subsidiary of Wise Group and has a turnover of approximately SEK 30 million and 13 employees. Simployer Group has a turnover of NOK 450 million and more than 300 employees in Norway, Sweden and Poland.
- Wise Group has a strong market position in the areas the group's specialist companies are now focusing on. We have thus created good conditions for a new and profitable growth phase in the core business. At the same time, Edge will now have the opportunity to expand its offering and digital business together with a strong player in the HR market, says Ingrid Höög, CEO of Wise Group AB.
Simployer is one of Scandinavia's largest suppliers of HR solutions and has a clear goal: To make it easy to be a great employer. "Simplify" for simplification. "Employer" for employer. Simployer for the totality
