Vigleik Takle is the new CEO of Simployer.

The Chairman of the Board in Simployer, Frode Haugli, is very pleased with the appointment of Takle;

- We are very pleased to appoint Vigleik as CEO of Simployer. His experience in leading and developing commercial tech companies, as well as creating scalable growth for SaaS companies, fits perfectly with Simployer's ambitions. His genuine interest in employees, culture and customers is also in line with the company's focus.

As the new CEO of Simployer, Takle will further accelerate the journey towards the goal of building a Northern European leader in HR technology and expertise.

I am incredibly proud and motivated to gain the trust as Simployer’s new CEO. The global HR market is growing strongly, both in terms of market size and strategic importance. Simployer has both the technology and the expertise needed to become a leading player in this market. This is truly a dream job for me - a unique opportunity to take a successful Nordic company into a strongly growing market in Europe, says Takle.

Takle looks forward to working closely with an already strong organisation and Group Management Team, and will work across Simployer’ s locations in Oslo, Sarpsborg, Kristiansund, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Gdansk.

I am impressed with what Simployer has achieved so far - they have proven over several years that they are able to follow developments in the market and deliver high customer value. It is a great privilege to be able to lead more than 300 competent employees on the exciting growth journey that lies ahead of the company, Takle emphasises.

Simployer has been a family-owned company since 1985, and Ferd became the new majority shareholder in 2020. Ferd is very pleased with the employment of Takle;

The pandemic has created major changes in the labour market and has made the role of HR even more strategically important. Simployer is extremely well positioned as the largest player in HR technology and expertise in Norway and Sweden, and further geographical expansion will be important in the years to come, says Danjal Haaland Danjalsson, Investment Professional at Ferd Capital.

Current CEO, Thorfinn Hansen, has worked in Simployer in more than 27 years, and led the company in 16. Both the Board and the owners value Hansen for particularly great management and development of the company over a long period of time.

Takle will take over the role on 1 March 2022. Until then, Simployer’ s Norwegian Country Manager, Gard Rønning, will act as Simployer’ s interim CEO.
