- There are few comparable Scandinavian Saas (Software as a service) companies of this size, and it is a major milestone for us, says CEO of Simployer, Vigleik Takle.

Simployer is a leading player in the Scandinavian HR market and delivers a unique combination of HR technology and expertise tailored to local markets. Simployer is the preferred choice for more than 15,000 customers, with over 1.2 million users.

– There are few comparable Scandinavian SaaS companies of this size, and bypassing NOK 500 in ARR, we are manifesting our position as a leading player in the Scandinavian HR market. This means that we are at a level where we can invest further in the further development of both products, in our employees and last but not least, continue to deliver great customer experiences, Takle explains.

Companies are more concerned with taking care of their people

HR software is becoming increasingly important, and it is a market with strong growth. While HR was previously seen as an administrative process, more and more companies today see HR as a business-critical function. The pandemic increased the need for good software solutions and followed by a labor market in great motion and the battle for talent, has resulted in HR being high on the agenda.

– Companies are beginning to realize that the most important resource they have is their employees. There is an enormous untapped potential, but this requires working both structured and targeted. To manage this, you need a combination of system, expertise, and great management skills, Takle continues.

Moving beyond Norway and Sweden

Simployer has 370 employees in Sweden, Poland, Denmark and Norway. Many Scandinavian companies have employees beyond their own national borders. For managers, it then becomes more vital to be able to take care of their employees, regardless of where in the world they are situated. The CEO of Simployer has good faith that Simployer will be able to play an even bigger role in this development, now that the company is expanding further in Europe:

- We are working on realizing our product strategy which supports our long-term ambition to enter new markets beyond our current presence in Norway and Sweden. To succeed in this, we will continue to invest in our employees, who we believe are our foundation for success with further expansion, Vigleik Takle concludes.
